Mathuriga is a Sri Lankan Dane, learning veena under Dr. Karaikudi S. Subramanian of Brhaddhvani while currently pursuing a Masters by Research at the Irish World Academy of Music and Dance.
Mathuriga and her sister Thenuga have been incredibly supportive of (and patient with) Patantara from the time they began using it. We thank them for their continued support on behalf of all music students who benefit from their efforts.
